RAW FEEDING GUIDELINES
Puppy (2 months – 1 Year)
-5% - 8% of total body weight per day (not per feeding)
-Average is 7%.
Adult ( 1 Year – Older)
-2.5% of body weight daily (not per feeding) to maintain optimal weight.
-2% in order to lose weight
-3% in order to increase weight
-Once optimal weight is obtained return to 2.5% daily in order to maintain.
The first step will be to calculate your dog's recommended daily portion.
Adult Portions is 2.5% of your dog's weight.
This dog is around 84lbs
so 2.5% = 2.1 lbs of raw food per day.
Puppy Portions is 7% of your dog's weight.
So if this puppy weighs in at around 20 lbs,
then 7% = 1.4 lbs of raw food per day.
